Privacy Policy

Dream Corporation Inc. ("we", "us") provides Haru Diary (the "App"). Diary records are managed on your device and are not sent to our servers. This policy explains local storage, external font downloads, backups and sharing, and support emails you choose to send us.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through the App. The App has no sign-up or login, and it does not send your entries, photos or device information to any server we operate.

The App contains no third-party tracking tools such as advertising, usage analytics, location tracking or crash reporting.

2. Information stored only on your device

The following information that you enter is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage. We cannot access it.

• Entry titles, text, dates, places, categories and attached photos
• Diary names, covers and designs, and your to-do list
• Information you enter yourself, such as your baby's name and birthday
• App settings such as font, language and auto-lock
• Diary lock PINs — stored only as a SHA-256 value combined with a random salt, never as the digits themselves

Removing the app may delete records in its storage on your device. Exported backups, videos and photos, and operating-system device backups, may remain separately and must be managed or deleted at their respective storage locations or services.

3. Device permissions

The App asks for a permission only when you use the related feature. You can keep using everything else if you decline, and you can change permissions in your device settings at any time.

• Camera — to take photos for your diary
• Photo library (read) — to attach photos to entries; only the photos you pick are copied into the App
• Photo library (add) — to save diary videos you create

4. Backup files

When you run a backup, the App creates a backup file (.zip) containing your diaries, entries, photos, to-dos and settings, and saves it to the place you choose (for example, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or the Files app). Backup files are never sent to our servers; the terms and privacy policy of the service you choose apply.

Backup files are not encrypted, so please keep them somewhere others cannot access. Diary lock PINs are not included in backups.

5. Communication with external services

The first time you use a free Google Fonts font (such as a handwriting font), the App downloads the font file once from servers operated by Google LLC. As with any internet request, connection information such as your device's IP address may be sent to Google; your diary content is never sent. When you use the share feature to send a video or backup file, the file is passed to the app or service you choose.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not collect or share diary entries or photos from the app. See the relevant sections for external font downloads, sharing and backups you initiate, and support correspondence.

7. Children's privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Baby information entered in a baby diary is stored only on the device.

8. Deleting your information

You can delete entries, diaries and to-dos in the app. Back up any records you wish to keep before clearing app storage or removing the app. Exported files and operating-system or cloud backup copies must be deleted separately from their storage locations.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when laws or the App's features change. Any changes will be posted on this page.

If you email us for support or privacy questions, we receive your email address, message and any information you attach. We use this information to respond and resolve the issue, and retain it only as needed to handle the request or comply with applicable legal requirements. Contact us below to request deletion of your correspondence. You do not need to send sensitive diary entries or a complete backup.
