Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
This policy applies to Haru SQL - Learn Programming (package name com.haru.sql.community), published on Google Play by the developer Haru Community, which is operated by Dream Corporation Inc. Dream Corporation Inc. ("we", "us") provides Haru SQL (the "app", also shown as 하루 SQL, ハル SQL and other names depending on language and device), an app for learning SQL. Your progress, the SQL you write and the databases you create are stored only on your device. The Android app shows banner ads through Google AdMob. This policy explains what the app stores and how it is used, the ad data processed by Google, device permissions, the role of device backups and app stores, and how we handle support emails you send us.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through the app. The app has no sign-up or login, and it does not send your progress, the SQL you write, the databases you create or device information to our servers or to anyone else.
The app contains no usage analytics, crash reporting or location tracking operated by us. The Android app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to show banner ads; the ad data processed by Google is described in Section 6.
2. Information stored only on your device
The following information you enter or that arises from using the app is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot access it.
- Progress - completed missions and missions solved with the explanation, recent check results (up to 300), the dates you studied and how many times you checked answers
- Saved missions and your SQL - bookmarked missions, the SQL you are writing for each mission (up to 100), and missions where you opened the solution
- Settings - daily goal, appearance and app language
- My databases - the database files you create and their names, the SQL you are writing, recently run SQL (up to 20) and a previous copy used to undo the last change
Missions and practice data are built into the app and SQL runs with SQLite on your device, so no external server checks or runs your queries. The app has no separate lock or encryption feature; your information is protected by your device's own security, such as its screen lock. Deleting the app removes this information from your device. Copies in your operating system's device backup may remain separately (see Section 5).
3. How your SQL and data are used
The SQL you write and the values you enter in your databases are used only to run queries on your device and to show results, progress and run history. All practice data is fictional, so you can use every feature without putting real personal information such as names or contact details into a database.
Tapping "Copy SQL" copies your SQL to your device's clipboard. Pasting it into another app is your own action; the app does not send it automatically. Tapping "Check for updates" in Settings opens the App Store or Google Play on your device.
4. Device permissions
The app does not request any device permission that asks for your approval. It does not request location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar or notification permissions. The Android app declares internet, network state and advertising ID permissions so the ad SDK can load ads; these permissions do not show an approval prompt. See Section 6 about the advertising identifier.
The app uses only its own private area of your device storage and does not access other files such as photos or your downloads folder. SQL run in My databases is also blocked from reading or writing external files, loading extensions and attaching other databases.
5. Device backups
The app has no backup, export or sync feature of its own. On Android, depending on your device settings, your progress and databases may be included in your Google account's device backup, which Google handles under its own policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). On iPhone, depending on your device settings, app data may be included in iCloud Backup, which Apple handles under its own policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). We cannot access these backups.
6. Advertising, third parties and app stores
The Android app shows a Google AdMob banner ad above the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. The app is intended for users aged 18 and over. Ads are not requested with child-directed or under-age-of-consent treatment. Where required, Google's consent screen is shown before ads load, and advertising privacy choices are available in Settings. When an ad loads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK connects to the internet, and depending on your device settings and applicable consent, Google may collect and process your IP address (including approximate location), device identifiers such as the advertising ID, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit.
Your progress, the SQL you write and your databases are not passed to the ad SDK. Google and its partners handle ad data under their own policies, and it may be processed on servers outside your country (https://policies.google.com/privacy , https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads ). You can reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings.
We do not sell, provide or share the information you enter with third parties. Apart from the ad SDK, the open-source components the app uses serve only to run SQL (SQLite), store data on your device, show the app version and open the store, and they do not transmit the information you enter.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Downloads, payments and reviews are handled by each store under its own privacy policy. The stores may provide us with statistics such as download counts and, depending on your device settings, crash reports that do not include the information you enter.
7. Children's privacy
The app is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not collect learning records or databases through the app. If a child has sent us a support email, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its deletion.
8. Retention and deletion
Information stays on your device until you delete it. On a mission screen you can reset the SQL you wrote or remove a bookmark, and you can delete each of your databases individually.
To clear your progress at once, tap Settings > Reset learning progress. This deletes completed missions, bookmarks, the SQL you wrote and recent history (your daily goal, appearance, language and your databases are kept). Deleting the app removes all data from your device; copies in a device backup must be deleted from that backup separately.
Deleting your history or the app does not delete ad data Google has already processed. Manage it with your device's advertising ID settings and Google's privacy tools. We cannot delete data held by Google.
9. Your rights and how to contact us
Because the information you enter never leaves your device, you can view, correct or delete it in the app at any time. For questions about this policy, or to request access to or deletion of a support email you sent us, contact us below.
10. Support emails
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use this only to answer you and solve the problem, and keep it only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and comply with applicable law. Please do not send payment card details or passwords, and you do not need to include personal information unrelated to the issue.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when laws or app features change, and will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
