Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Dream Corporation Inc. (the "Company") provides haru.travel (the "App"), a travel budget, saved-places map and itinerary app for trips to Korea and Japan. The App has no sign-up and the Company runs no server for it, so your travel records are not sent to the Company. This policy explains what is stored on your device, which outside services the App contacts and when, and how support email is handled.
1. Information the Company collects
The Company does not collect personal information through the App. The App has no account or login, and it does not send your trips, expenses, places, plans or device information to any server operated by the Company.
The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
2. Information stored only on your device
What you enter is saved only in the App's own storage on your device. The Company cannot access it.
- Trips - name, destination (Korea or Japan), dates, budget currency, yen-won exchange rate and category budgets
- Expenses - amount, currency, category, description, payment type (cash, card or transit card only; no card numbers), date, the rate used and memo
- Saved places - name, link, address, map coordinates, category, country, memo and visited status
- Plans - title, day, time, linked place, memo and completion status
- Settings - app language and the trip currently shown
On first launch the App adds a sample trip to show how it works; you can delete it like any other trip. If a stored record can't be read, the App keeps a copy aside in the same on-device storage instead of discarding it.
Depending on your device settings, operating-system backups (such as iCloud or computer backups on iPhone, or Android backup to your Google account) may include the App's data. Those copies are managed by Apple or Google under your account, not by the Company.
3. Maps (Google Maps)
Maps in the App are displayed with the Google Maps SDK for iOS and Android, provided by Google LLC. To draw the map, the SDK requests map data from Google, so Google receives information such as your IP address, device and app information, and the map area being shown. Pins and routes for your saved places are drawn on the device; the Company does not send your trip records to Google.
Map use is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (https://www.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
4. Finding a location from an address
When you tap Find in the place editor, the address you typed (or the place name, if there is no address) is sent to your device's built-in geocoding service to look up coordinates - Apple on iPhone (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), and on Android the geocoder provided with your device, typically Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Nothing is sent unless you tap Find. Coordinates inside a pasted Google Maps link are read on the device without any network request.
5. Exchange rates
Only when you tap Today's rate while editing a trip does the App request current yen exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API's open endpoint (open.er-api.com). The request contains no trip data or identifiers, but like any internet request it reveals your IP address to that service. See its terms and privacy policy (https://www.exchangerate-api.com/terms).
6. Opening links and other apps
When you open a saved link, or open a place in Google Maps or Naver Map, the App hands the link - or the place name, address or coordinates - to your browser or that app. From then on that service's own policy applies, for example Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), NAVER (https://policy.naver.com/policy/privacy_en.html) or the social network that published the link.
The App reads your clipboard only when you tap Paste in the place editor, and writes to it only when you copy an address.
7. Permissions and location
The App uses internet access only for the features above. It does not request location permission and does not access your current location; the only coordinates in the App are those of places you save. It does not request access to your camera, photos, contacts or notifications.
8. Children
The App is a general travel tool and is not directed at children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Retention and deletion
Records stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete individual trips (together with their expenses and plans), expenses, places and plans in the App, or erase all trips, expenses, places and plans at once in Settings → Erase all data. Uninstalling the App removes all of its data from the device, including set-aside copies and settings.
Because the Company does not hold your records, it cannot restore or delete them for you. Copies in device or cloud backups must be deleted through those services.
10. Your rights, support email and contact
If you email support, the Company receives your email address, your message and anything you attach, and uses them only to answer and resolve your inquiry. They are kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and meet legal obligations, and you can ask to access, correct or delete them at any time. Please don't send passwords or payment card details.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when laws or the App's features change. Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date.
